8th Asian Ocenaian Korfball Championship

The Korfball Promotion Committee of China (KPCC) are hosting the 8th Asian Oceanian Korfball Championship from 3rd -8th April 2010.

Games will be played at  Zhuzhou Sports Center Gymnasium, Zhuzhou Avenue, Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, China.

Teams will be competing from the Asian Oceanian Region including, China, Hong Hong, Australia, India, New Zealand, Macau, Chinese Teipei, Indonesia, Japan and Korea.

A top placing will qualify nations to compete at the World Championships in 2011, again in China.

About ZhuZhou in China:
Zhuzhou is in the eastern part of Hunan Province, and is the second largest city in Hunan. It is one of the most important transportation hubs of South China. Zhuzhou is referred to as "The Train Dragged to the City". 

Zhuzhou has a population of over 3 million. The map below shows it's location in China. It's about an 8 hour drive, or 1 hour by plane from Hong Kong.

Here is a closer view of the city, showing location of the Gymnasium and the Hotel- only about 10minutes drive away!! The city is split by a river. Our hotel and gym are on the less populated side of the river.
